Annotation

The exhibition pavilion is inspired by one of the jewels of the capital city of Prague, which is the settlement of Baba, founded in 1932. The settlement is mainly known for its pioneering architecture from the period of functionalism. The proposed pavilion thus refers to functionalism, its laws, and in doing so it responds to the faculty building. The main content of the exhibition pavilion would be the space itself with its clean facade, free plan, sash windows, and supporting steel columns. On the first floor, visitors and students could see the exhibition of famous functionalist furniture from architects such as Le Corbusier or Mies van der Rohe. The projection would take place on the second-floor photos and documentation of the settlement of Baba, with the provision of seating...
