MUNICIPAL HOUSE BÝČKOVICE
Annotation
The aim of the project was to create a place for the cultural and social life of the village and to deepen the impression of the village-centre, which lost its dominant character after the demolition of the local church. It was important for the building to meet the requirements of the CHKO, to not disrupt the community's identity, but at the same time offer something new. For my inspiration, I chose the concept of traditional barns, which I interpreted in a modern way. The building is divided into two masses, thus respecting the scale of the village. Behind the municipal building, a staircase is designed to allow access to the water course, offering a space for relaxation.
