Slavín II
Annotation
The proposed columbarium is located
at the Vyšehrad Cemetery opposite the original
Slavín, oriented towards him, objects communicate silently with each other.
The shape of the building is inspired by curved clouds
and it is significantly different from its surroundings, the material
is a mirror metal that allows the object
non-violently fit into thearea and reflects
the entire cemetery with the basilica.
The people buried in Slavín are worthy
highlighting their personalities, why then
not raise the whole columbarium higher
to the sky. The interior space is formed by a wall,
in which are built-in spaces for 51 urns.
