Behind three yards

Annotation

Views without prying eyes. Few of us would like to face the stares of passers-by after a long day when we collapse into a chair or straight into the bed. But what to do if the house is surrounded by the street. Give up views of the landscape completely? And miss out on the forested hill that rises behind the street? A dilemma that the house solves with an exterior wall that covers it like a veil. It creates a certain boundary, suggests the events behind, but still allows the wearer to look outside. Privacy is ensured by the predominant concrete parts, the views outside are directed through the omitted fields and a certain intermediate stage is the perforated clinker walls. These are placed on their sides and thus give the passer-by an indication of what is going on behind the wall.
