Temporary housing in Smíchov

Annotation

Temporary housing for refugee students from Ukraine is located in Prague's Smíchov. The shape of the building was influenced by the fragmented plot, where a railway line and a cycle path run. The goal was to place the building in the rampart in such a way as to give users a security and privacy. The building is divided into two main parts, the first floor, which includes a living room with a kitchen, and the second floor, there are private bedrooms, but also a small bistro for visitors to the nearby cycle path. Guests of the local bistro can relax on the roof terrace and enjoy refreshments prepared by the residents of the building. The building is a prefabricated wooden building. This project serves to help people who have lost their homes and they are trying to return to a normal life.
