GYMNASIUM OF THE NATION’S MEMORY

The school is a unique place where each of us finds our spot and tirelessly grows within society. In this semester, our task was to come up with a new school for the current high school students, based on their ideas, in order to make our spaces functional. Our property is surrounded by existing schools, and the old and new ones blend together as a whole. I placed our building near the road, with an entrance directly from Žitná Street and Rybníček Street. On the first floor, I tried to create a space for communication, while the second floor consists only classrooms. The facade of my school is made of cembrit. My school has the advantage of being located near a busy road, which allowed me to utilize the rest of the quieter property into park for the personal needs of the students.
