Villa for a Psychologist
Annotation
The house is located in the quiet area of Petřiny in Prague 6 and is designed for a family of two. The defining feature of this house is a large staircase leading through the middle of the layout, consisting of four arms, which serves all three floors and the garden terrace of the living area. As it is extremely necessary in such a mentally demanding occupation for the person doing the work to be able to reliably separate his family life from his professional life, the staircase helps to achieve this as it firmly divides the house into 2 parts - the living and working areas. Another important element is the therapy room in the working area. The features of this space create a pleasant, soothing and even meditative atmosphere, which helps its users to delve into the depths of their minds.
