Café

This café is designed to fill the empty peninsula by the Mšeno dam in Jablonec Nad Nisou. With its shape this small building unfolds itself to the panoramatic view of the dam and offers a cozy place to relax in. The main influence on the floorplan is the concept of two intersecting masses, each with its clear purpouse. The concrete block is conjoined with the wooden corridor which is broken in the interior by the more sturdy concrete. This can be seen in the interior wall materials. The wooden part is for the guests, whereas the concrete section symbolizes the services and technical spaces, such as toilettes.
