Georges Braque Gallery

I have designed my exhibition space for the French artist Georges Braque, who, along with Pablo Picasso, was a founder of Cubism. I chose this artist for several reasons. Firstly, there is my fascination with Cubism, as well as the fact that Braque is my favorite artist. I also believe that his work and, especially, the principles he employs in it (geometry, play with light, simplification of forms, multiple perspectives) fit excellently with this task. He dedicated a lot of his work to the study and representation of light in painting, as well as to perspective and the depiction of objects in an unconventional style. With his analytical approach, he would have made an excellent architect if he had chosen that path. His artistic works and their context can be utilized in this assignment.
