Spa on the divide

Annotation

Imagine a place on the edge of a rocky massif, at the limits of human capability, near a glacial lake in the Taurus Mountains. Accessible only in summer, it's a refuge for climbers amidst granite boulders and water. My spa stands right there. It seeks inspiration in the cracking of stone as a process between solid rock and its transformation into the space of a cave. It follows the shift of stone slabs and the creation of gaps between them. These gaps later influenced the concept of the skylights themselves. Through them, water flows, directs light, giving it the expression of dripping. The building's orientation to the south maximizes natural light, reflecting off pillars and shaping the interior. The entrance offers a captivating view of the pillars harmonizing with the horizon.
