The Skyscraper for a Librarian

Vanesa Teznerová

Annotation

In the library concept, there are three shapes - a circle, a triangle and an arc. The circle represents an organized librarian who is turned "in all directions" because she has to keep an eye on everything going on around her. Since there are shelves with books in every corner of the library, I chose their location adequately. And finally, visitors in the form of a circular arch that touches two corners with shelves. People walk through here, going from shelf to shelf, trying to find something that interests them. They are more indecisive than librarians, so their circle is not closed, whole. I tried to interpret the concept into the skyscraper. The triangles form the silhouette of the entire building, while the circles are the windows here.
