MEDIBUDKA

The assignment consists of three projects - fifth room, sculpture and hut. Medibudka is located in one of the holes above Hlubočepy. It stands on eight "legs" and the only way to get there is by using a ladder. It was built for meditation, and it can be used by individuals or a small group of people. The purpose was to make a space where person could be focused on himself without any interruption. The hut does not have any windows with view. So, the light gets inside thru roof window or by the rotating planks, which also work as an airing. Medibudka should make you feel balanced. You climb up to feel grounded.
