HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ - REDEVELOPMENT OF THE INDUSTRIAL AREA BEHIND THE RAILWAY STATION

The topic is the urban solution of the development area behind the main railway station in Hradec Králové. Redevelopment of the industrial zone and its integration into the city. The aim is to design a new urban district according to the ideas of a sustainable city and to offer an alternative to further expansion of the city beyond its borders. The project connects the separated parts by rail with the city centre, creating new public spaces, amenities and a compact city.
