A TRIBUTE TO EMIL PŘIKRYL

The project is based on the geometry of the square and its segmentation.The prominent element is a staircase, which, together with the English courtyards, completes the space in the basement. The building is designated as a representative space of the campus, set in the planned Kvadrant 4 project. It's a place where students meet, sit down for coffee, in the study room or just visit the exhibition of their schoolmates' work. The building was inspired by an influential architect who made his mark on the evolution of Czech modern architecture. His buildings are known for their white facade, "box-like" form broken by slit windows and his geometry. A tribute to Emil Přikryl.
