McIntyre Class Globe 5.80. A project with a goal to make sailing boat racing more accesible started in the 1970s with the idea of more affordable solo racing. Despite it´s increasing popularity, it has not yet earned the attention it deserves. The design of the boat workshop in the park on Libeňský ostrov seeks to connect the boatbuilding craft with the wider public through a design that serves as a display for park visitors while keeping practicality and all the needs of the builder in mind. It is made of a combination of concrete and steel construction clad on three sides with glass walls.
