Annotation

This project is named after the ancient Roman god Sol Invictus and falls under the city of Biskrq, an Algerian city that belonged to the Roman Empire and is nicknamed the "Gate of the Sahara". The building's circular plan and central light were inspired by praising the god Sol. In addition to the pleasant surroundings, the spa offers a main pool, a long swimming pool, seating directly in the water and a group of three private pools. The facility also includes changing rooms, a bar and sunbathing areas. The whole building consists of a circle and two circular sections. There is an open atrium with a ramp in the centre of the main hall, which provides the main lighting for the whole area, supplemented only by two longitudinal skylights in the shadiest parts of the building.
