Maximal Minimal housing in Štupartská

Filip Ježdík

Annotation

The project represents a nine-story apartment building, located on the corner plot of Štupartská and Templová streets in the very center of Prague in Prague 1, where it is trying to partially straighten the crooked street line. The house has a combined function, there is a hairdresser on the ground floor and the entire rest of the house is made up of apartments. The entire house is composed of two types of apartments that alternate. In the underground floor there are cellars that provide storage space for residents. The eighth and ninth floors form one maisonette apartment, from which you can see all the way to Prague Castle. Each of the apartments has a balcony and tries to make the most of the fact that the sun shines on the property only from the west side.
