CO:living in the courtyard

Halfway between a children's home and adult life stands an atrium house in the middle of a courtyard in Prague's Holešovice district. Young adults who have just left the orphanage share their space with students. Eight people live here independently, but they are not alone. They form a community that gives them a sense of security and helps them decide what's next, but it doesn't have to be right now. The nearest program is a joint screening, barbecue, growing vegetables or collaboration in the café, which is part of the building. It is a symbiosis of different groups that does not disturb the already established life in the courtyard, where everyone is welcome.
