Semi-detached house

The task was to design, together with Lukáš Bajer, a semi-detached house for artists in one of the spatial plans. My part of the house was designed for a sculptor dealing with figurative motifs. The main motif of this part of the house is the fluted facade reminiscent of a carved stone sculpture. The house is designed in a free plan on reinforced concrete columns. The free plan was a suitable solution for the creation of a spacious sculpture studio on the ground floor, which is then in direct contact with the street outside through the glazed parterre. The common green roof, accessible via footbridges from the upper street, then serves as an outdoor gallery of completed works. The house tries to be welcoming to the public as well.
