Šemík's triple house

Tomas Chábera, Filip Hamáček, Sarka Dymková

Annotation

Šemík's triple house represents a solution that combines three independent houses with studios, intended for various artistic personalities - a pianist, a dancer and a photographer. The house for the pianist is made up of a wooden skeleton on two floors, the house for the dancer is made of brick with an industrial aesthetic, which is ensured by luxfers, and the facade of the house for the photographer is solved using openwork masonry. There is a covered common walkway in front of the houses, which optically unites the three houses into one building. The back sides of the houses are connected by a footbridge. This footbridge serves not only as private communication between artists, but also as access for potential visitors and clients.
