STUDENT COLONY

Student colony, as the title suggests, is a student community housing. The task was to create housing with some utilitary space, that in this design is the garden. The garden is foremost a place to meet with people, a place to relax and a source of fresh produce. Each building is divided into two flats, one on the ground floor, the second on the first floor. In each flat lives around 3-4 people, all of them with a private room. My goal was to define spaces accessible to the whole community- garden with terraces, spaces for smaller co-living groups- kitchens and living rooms of each flat, and private rooms- available only to individuals- This system offers a lot of privacy while allowing to connect with the community around you.
