HOUSE FOR MR. AND MRS. MEDEK

The house is designed in a structural plan. Since the building is inspired by a married couple, we have designed it so that both parts work closely together and the house appears as a unified whole at first glance. The exterior of the house is visually composed of several interlocking parts, illustrating the disjointedness of surrealism, which both artists were heavily influenced by. Both parts are conceived in such a way that the ground floor serves as a day zone for daily activities and visits, while the upper floors are intended for rest and work. Emily's section is located on the right, and an integral part of it is a darkroom for developing photographs. The complete opposite is found on the top floor, where the largest and brightest space used as a photo studio is located.
