HOUSE FOR STAGE DESIGNER AND COSTUME DESIGNER

The land below Vyšehrad with its sloping terrain offers many opportunities for the creation of concepts. We decided to design our house for the theatre professions like a stage designer and costume designer. We wanted to connect the houses with something purposeful so we decided to create an outdoor theatre in yard. The theatre-goers have the main entrancen to the theatre from the upper street through the house for the stage manager, where a dressing room, toilets, facilities and a bar have been designed for them. The actors have a designated entrance downstairs on the 1st floor in the costume designer's house, where there are also facilities for them with their own dressing room. The houses themselves have studios of both artistes hidden inside them along with their apartments.
