TOWER - HOUSE

The building is located near the former railway station Strašnice on the territory of the cancelled railway line, where a linear park with a cycle path will be built. Together with other projects, it forms a new development and community, where everyone contributes to the newly created community in some way. This building contains bicycle workshop and a living area. The main idea of the house is to divide the space by elevation and not by walls. On each floor there is a space with a specific function. This creates one space within which everything is connected, but at the same time no space is disturbt by other. Use of metal grates makes this principle even more noticable, because it increases connection between spaces in certain places.
