The proposal responds to the lack of quality social spaces where women can spend their free time without the need for supervision. A contrasting modern extension made of copilite is proposed to the existing historic building. The redevelopment is intended to have open space that will be flexible for a variety of uses. For example, joint workshops or family gatherings. As part of the redevelopment, disabled access has also been provided. In addition, subtle adjustments were made to the internal layout, which included, for example, increasing the size of the dining areas or the staff lounge.
