Form and Function

Form and Function It is an apartment building in the Dejvice district of Prague. Building it is built of dark red bricks and ribbed concrete. whose the layout can be confusing to someone seeing it for the first time. Size building is 14 by 11 meters. It was possible to create comfortable housing for several families on a small plot of land. Up to 12 meters in total the building accommodated 8 apartments. (4 separate apartments, 2 apartments for a couple and 2 apartments for small families of 3 people). On the ground floor and underground on the first floor there is a studio and gallery for the residents of this house. IN the studio has a parking lot for bikes. Each mezzanine forms its own floor height, which creates fascinating effect of differences in levels.
