My lighthouse

The lighthouse, called My lighthouse, was inspired by a Christian song by Rend Collective that shares the name. And she is not the only one that depicts God as a beacon and light. This was the basis of my idea to combine the function of a lighthouse with a sacred building. The building should be a place for silence, a place of rest. It consists of a total of three parts: a church, a lighthouse tower and accommodation for preachers. For the shape of the nave, I chose the shape of a winding road, with an unclear goal, representing life. The shape also imitates a wave on the sea surface and thus simultaneously connects the building with the surroundings. The wave on the sea surface gradually gradates and I also used this principle when creating the main mass.
