Bar soap and soap dish

The asignment was to create a bar soup and a soap dish out of concreate. I made my soap dish out of cement because of its greater hardness and durability, which was necessary for the sharp edges and thin walls of the soap dish bowl to catch the soap water. I made the bar soap by tracing the curve of the palm so that it fits comfortably in the hand. The soap holder follows the same curve and holds the soap in place with small ridges around the edges. The water from the soap is drained through grooves into the bowl in which the holder is set and stands on small feet built into the bowl so that the bowl and the holder do not get stuck together with dried soap water.
