Soap and soap dish

My goal was to create two aesthetically matching products that would not only be a show piece, but would be thoughtfully designed with a focus on its function and an effort to avoid typical functional errors that deter users from using them. In particular, I wanted to focus on the shape of the soap and the placement of the soap in the soap dish. Avoiding resistance to using solid soap due to poor grip and fear of it slipping out of my hand. While searching for a solution to these two problems, I also tried to find an interesting idea or detail for the project that would connect both products. This idea became the lines on the human palm, which, when pulled out, create an ergonomic shape of the soap and the shape of the soap dish derived from it.
