CHILDREN'S GROUP BOTANICA

Albertov is one of the oldest university campuses in Prague, where thousands of students move daily. In designing the children's group, I wanted to highlight the contrast between university students overwhelmed with responsibilities and children full of creativity and playfulness. The facade facing the street blends with the surrounding architecture, while the other side reveals a building with glass walls connecting classrooms to nature. The garden behind provides a safe space for children's imagination, inspired by the nearby botanical garden. All spaces are connected by a central corridor, allowing children to move and observe life outside. The main entrance and garden access are in the building's corner, where children say goodbye to their parents and begin their first own journey.
