The Center for Architecture Trenčín at the Miloš Alexander Bazovský Gallery announces a call for abstracts for academic studies focused on the preservation of architectural heritage of modern architecture in the Trenčín Region. The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 30, 2025.
The goal is to gather expert studies that highlight the current state of heritage conservation of modern architecture (1920–1990) or compare the Slovak context with other countries, both in Europe and beyond. Ten selected studies will be compiled into a peer-reviewed publication under the Center for Architecture Trenčín. Selected studies will be financially remunerated. Before publication, authors will be offered the opportunity to participate and collaborate within the gallery’s program for the Architecture Day 2025 festival.
