Preparation for the examination of special professional competence of public administration employees in the field of spatial planning

The course is designed for public administration employees and designers. The content is training for the examination of special professional competence in the field of spatial planning for the preparation of spatial planning documentation and preparation for the examination in general. The course is held once a year in the form of lectures and elaboration of own work, which will demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge on a specific example. The participant will complete 5 teaching days in three weeks. Lectures given by lecturers approved by the Ministry for Regional Development, projects, publications and working texts for the preparation of the special eligibility test concerning land-use planning will be available. The course is completed by an assessment of the listener by a lecturer-consultant as a basis for the examination of special competence of the Ministry of the Interior organized by the Institute of Local Administration.

GIS services for students

The Department of Spatial Planning provide the teaching of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the Faculty of Architecture. In this context it offers the possibility of consulting GIS for students of master and doctoral studies. Consultation provides by Daniel Franke after prior arrangement by email (frankdan@fa.cvut.cz). Consultations concern mainly data sources and their analytical processing in GIS.
