I come from Turnov, where I also direct my private architectural activities (restoration of the former Svoboda brewery and the former hunting lodge Bažantnice near Loukova).
I showed my interests in historical architecture already in my early childhood and subsequently decided to continue to the Faculty of Architecture and graduated in 2017 under the guidance of Professor Václav Girsa.
I am an authorized architect and teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where I have been a professional assistant at the Efler studio since 2018.
Apart from teaching, I have my own private architectural practice, in which I mainly deal with the restoration of historical building stock. However, I do not avoid contextual new buildings either.
During my studies and several years after graduation, I was a member of Tomáš Šantavého's studio, where I was a part of, or the leader of, the project team for projects, e.g.:
- Archaeological museum Archevita in Roztoky near Prague
- Restoration of the administrative villa Světovar, Pilsen
- Techtower, former brewery Světovar, Pilsen
- Partial restoration of the Mill Colonnade in Karlovy Vary, Restoration of the Abbot's Residence in Plasy, New construction of apartment buildings in Prague 5 Smíchov, Restoration of the Vimperk Castle, etc.
During my private practice, from 2019, I mainly dealt with the restoration of historical buildings, but also with new construction of family houses, e.g.:
- Náchod Castle (in cooperation with Martin Čtverák) restoration of the Kostka building, Lesárna, bridge over the bear ditch, study of restoration of the Office tract
- Restoration of the parish district in Mnichov Hradiště - pilgrimage house and restoration of the rectory
- Reconstruction of a homestead in the village of Palivo
- Restoration of a villa from the beginning of the 20th century in Turnov
- New construction of a family house in Alšovice
- Restoration of the Bažantnice hunting lodge near Loukov
- Restoration of the former Svoboda brewery in Turnov
