CONCEPT OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF THE CENTRE OF LITVÍNOV

The topic of the diploma thesis is the urban development of the city centre in Litvínov. The thesis will focus on the forms of integration of the housing estate into the urban structure, the addition of amenities and urban forms of affordable housing. The final proposal is the creation of a vision and conceptual design of the centre in relation to the wider context of its surroundings. There are new connections within the core and further links to the newly transforming landscape following the end of opencast mining.
