LIVING IN BETWEEN MACHINES - SLANÝ

The design focuses on the revitalization of a former industrial area near the historic center of the town of Slaný. I am working on a new urban design and, on a smaller scale, also on the design of different typologies characteristic of the area. The concept envisions a new neighborhood that reflects the character of the place and the needs of its residents. The improvement of the environment is primarily based on the reintroduction of the stream along its entire length, increasing the permeability of the area, and connecting the built-up part with a linear park, providing a space for active relaxation. As a result, the place regains its potential.
