CHILDREN ´ S PALIATIVE CARE CENTER VELESLAVÍN

The thesis deals with the design of a children's hospice in Velesavín. The proposal is a follow-up to the pre-diploma seminar, during which a suitable location was selected on the basis of analyses. The seminar also addressed the requirements of paediatric palliative care, a field of medicine that is often neglected, although its importance is indispensable. The building programme was based on existing hospices around the world. This thesis offers a concrete idea of what such a hospice could look like and how it could operate. it also aims to help spread awareness of the importance of paediatric palliative care and its role in the lives of families.
