CENTRE OF KAMENICE

The first part of the diploma project deals with the design of the revitalization of the central area of Kamenice, the aim of which is to create a new form of Ringhoffer Square. The aim of the project is not only to redefine the space of the square as the heart of the village, but also to build on the existing structures through the use of existing buildings. The urban design serves as a basis for the design of one of the buildings - the town hall. The design part of the building is focused on the town hall building as a solitary object between the formal and informal square behind it. Taking into account the demolition of the existing office buildings, I have chosen wood as the predominant material of the building, which is reflected both on the facade and in the interior.
