CHEB - HOUSING IN THE CONTEXT OF A HISTORIC CENTRE

This thesis deals with the topic of living in the historic center of Cheb. After the center was vacated at the end of World War II, the local historic buildings fell into disrepair, until the situation was resolved by remediation, after which large empty areas remained in the city center. The aim of the work was to find a way to restore the lost structures using an example of a block near the Cheb Castle and how to support the return of residents from the suburbs to the city.
