Annotation
The thesis presents comprehensive view of the transformation of the former industrial area in Prague 22 – Uhříněves. The population in this district has doubled over the last few years. However, important infrastructure and amenities were not built in the same ratio as housing, therefore now they fail to provide sufficient capacity. This proposal focuses on a vision of the area and a study of a new set of buildings composed of kindergarten, nursing homes and assisted living center.
