FORGOTTEN PLACES - MUNICIPAL RENTIAL HOUSING ON SITES OWNED BY THE CAPITAL CITY OF PRAGUE

In large cities like Prague, there is a significant number of remaining undeveloped land, waiting to be used. In the context of the current housing crisis, which takes place in the capital, it is proposed to seek new uses for these forgotten places. This work defines one of the possible ways, how the question of housing in the capital can be addressed. That is the new construction of municipal rental housing on municipal land. The work is divided into three parts: firstly, the search for sites along with the railway network suitable for the development of residential buildings, secondly the definition of a unified construction system, and finally the conceptual design of the development on the selected sites.
