Public Space Work

The author of this bachelor thesis wanted to design a modern water fountain containing a bowl which collects water. This extra water can be drank by dogs, birds, and other animals. People in cities, when outside their homes, do not have many chances to refill their water bottles and often have to buy new ones. Water fountains are also nice refreshment in hot summers, that are more and more common in Czech Republic. The first part of this thesis includes a research of the current market and analyses important components of water fountain. In the second part the author talks about the process of designing and describes the final model.
