KUTNÁ HORA - SUKOV

The site of the former water reservoir on Sukov Hill in Kutná Hora is nowadays an abandoned point in the landscape. The reservoir was built here in the 1980s with the vision that the republic would become self-sufficient in fruit supply. With the change of political regime, the reservoir ceased to be used and has since remained only as a concrete hole in the ground. The aim of this thesis was to examine the suitability of the redefined function in this site, which is located at the border between the city and the countryside. Namely, to use the site as a music venue with appropriate facilities, to attract visitors to the site and not allow it to become a forgotten no man's land.
