Town House with Swimming Pool

The aim of the proposal was to make the centre of Vlašim more attractive, intensify the use of the area and at the same time realize a swimming pool. The proposed new multifunctional building replaces the existing development at the intersection of Riegrova and Komenského streets. The concept of vertical diversification of functions contributes to the restoration of the traditional values of the urban environment, which was strongly disturbed by the insensitive modernist construction of the second half of the 20th century - the basic function of leisure and sports amenities is supplemented by commercial spaces intended for retail on the ground floor and housing on the 4th floor. The operation of the swimming pool, easily accessible on foot from the surrounding housing estate, will have a positive effect on a city-wide scale.
