The topic of the diploma thesis is a project of an apartment block in Nitra, close to the pedestrian zone – in the center city. The block is filling the gap, which was demolished in the past, for the creation of today's traffic street. By filling the street, a compact development will be created once more.Apart from the main function of living on the upper floors, the block of apartments also contains commercial spaces.These create an active ground floor for pedestrian zone.
