APARTMENT HOUSE IN A VACANT LOT - STRAKONICE

The topic of this diploma thesis is a construction of an apartment building in a vacant lot on the Great Square in Strakonice. Now the plot serves as a parking lot and occasional place for a stall. It is a place with huge potential and great civic amenities. The main goal of this work is to erase the scar in the existing structure and also use the potential for future development of the adjacent brownfield - and thus create quality living in a place where one can do without everyday sitting behind the wheel. At the same time, in the direction of sustainability in the construction industry, I try to use wood-based materials and modern technologies for gentle heating and saving drinking water.
