TIBA 2020

TIBA 2020 diploma project covers transformation of an important area of 7,1 hectares of a former textile factory very close by the historical center of Beroun city, Czech republic. Owners of the site would prefer high capacity TESCO store (shopping area of 5000 square meters) in combination with high-rise residential building development. The project opens discussion regarding this plan and aims to propose a public beneficial alternative of conversion based on the respect towards needs of the city as living organism, so this valuable area turns into a functional part of the city and profits truly to the public.
