Annotation

The broader conception of the master´s thesis is to explore the possibilities of utilisation of non-traditional developing areas in capital city. The project is included in net of buildings designed by Peter Hajek´s students, which creates a parallel city in city, the City of Art.  My project verifies the conception in locality of Nuselsky valley, in particular the area under the Nuselsky bridge. In the report of Czech news agency from 9/8/13, the capital city of Prague presented project on cross connection the Vysehrad stop with the tram stop in Jaromirova street. The aim is to simplify the transfer of passengers, who have to bear the forty-meter-elevation on stairs, and partially to compensate the missing D track of underground railroad.  Designed object connects the ground of Nuselsky valley with Vysehrad and Karlov. Monorail system hangs from the bridge with the possibility of pedestrian lookout promenade. The project is a symbiosis of transportation building and object, which intervene spacetime and visual experiences. After darkness, thanks to programmable light system and videomapping, the building transforms into exhibitory place of light art, atelier, dynamic lecture hall or adrenaline expedition through the wilderness and far-away galaxies..
