Šafránka, Municipal Apartment Building

Šafránka is a picturesque enclave of several houses with a village layout at the end of Prague‘s Strahov overlooking the valley of the Motol’S brook and Košíř. A sustainable and dignified life for the health workers of the nearby hospitals. Wooden houses are a concept that combines wooden construction with housing. Two buildings were designed as part of the architectural study. One is intended for renting apartments and the other serves as a terraced development of family houses. The buildings are designed to be partially self–sufficient.
