"River Way" Gallery - Smíchov

The RIVER WAY gallery will be situated in Smichov district of Prague, near the Vltava river. The site is really narrow and long, with the beautiful view to Vyšehrad castle on the other side of the river. What if we could create here a modern public space with cultural function? So the gallery is designed to bring to this site as much public space as possible. The whole rooftop is designed as a terrace, so you can climb up to the viewpoint without even entering the gallery. Inside the building there are spaces for different activities - a big two-storage exhibition space, a lecture hall and a cafe. So that’s the new way of using this perpective site, the way to create a new public space by the river, the way to art… with the RIVER WAY GALLERY!
