Apartment building, Nymburk

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the solution of one residential section of a multifunctional building. The building is located in Nymburk, near the historic center, and serves predominantly residential purposes. It consists of two residential sections with three residential floors each. The ground floor has commercial spaces that are open towards the river, contributing to a vibrant environment around the building. An additional single-story commercial space is designed on the northern side. Newly designed building also offers private and public parking space. The overall architectural concept is simple with an emphasis on functionality. The white facade, large French windows and green-colored metal railing give the building a sense of lightness, making it a pleasant place to live. The residential floors facing the river feature generous balconies with beautiful view of the Elbe, while smaller balconies are located on the other three sides of the building.
